Admission Requirements:

Massage & Hydrotherapy Admission Requirements

Grade 12 (OSSD @ the General level or better) or Mature student.
Good oral and written English skills.
Attend the Introduction to Massage Therapy Course.
Current Medical Certificate signed and dated by a medical doctor, stating that you are in “good health and free from communicable diseases”.
Immunization for Hepatitis B is required.
Negative Police Check.
Two picture identification cards. ( ex. Health Card and Driver’s License)
Two recent photo booth photos. (approx. 3cm x 3.5cm)
Two Letters of Reference:

One letter of reference submitted by a professional ( Business Owner, Clergy, Police Officer, Lawyer, Accountant) and
An additional letter of reference from someone who is not related to you but has known you for at least 2 years.

CPR & First Aid Certificates – Students must complete STANDARD FIRST AID and BASIC RESCUER CPR.
Program Registration and Administration payment of $400.00.
Admissions interview to determine suitability for the program.

Medical Office Assistant Admission Requirements

Grade 12 (OSSD @ the General level or better) or Mature student.

LAN Support Specialist Admission Requirements

One letter of reference submitted by a professional ( Bus. Owner, Clergy, Police Officer, Lawyer, Accountant) and
An additional letter of reference from someone who is not related to you but has known you for at least 2 years.

Payroll Specialist Admission Requirements

One letter of reference submitted by a professional ( Bus. Owner, Clergy, Police Officer, Lawyer, Accountant) and
An additional letter of reference from someone who is not related to you but has known you for at least 2 years.

Personal Support Worker Admission Requirements

Grade 12 (OSSD @ the General level or better) or Mature student.
Good oral and written English skills.
Complete the Support Worker Student Questionnaire.
Current Medical Certificate and Fitness to Complete the Practical Elements Form signed and dated by a medical doctor, stating that you are in “good health and free from communicable diseases” and physically capable to meet PSW employability requirements.
Two picture identification cards .(ex. Health Card and Driver’s License)
Two recent photo booth photos. (approx. 3cm x 3.5cm)
Two Letters of Reference:

One letter of reference submitted by a professional (Business Owner, Clergy, Police Officer, Lawyer, Accountant) and
An additional letter of reference from someone who is not related to you but has known you for at least 2 years.

CPR & First Aid Certificates - Students must complete STANDARD FIRST AID and BASIC RESCUER CPR prior to clinical placement. These certificates are to be placed in the student’s file.
Student’s must be fit to undertake the program, as one maybe required to help patients get into, and out of beds, wheel chairs, walkers etc.
Negative Police Check / Clearance – Can not have a Criminal Record - Must be produced within 30 days of starting school.
